That's right, I'm finally opening up some commissions. "But Eli," you ask, "what kind of commissions can a writer do, especially since you're such an awful artist?" And my answer is this - I'm doing woodworking commissions!

This might surprise some of you, since I've only just now uploaded some of my work, but my dad and I do a lot of woodwork and we've got a lot of experience. Be it swords, knifes, hammers, axes, wrenches, staffs, harps, shields, etc, we can make it. We can even make things move and whatnot, provided it's a realistic joint for wood. Anywho, since I'm low on money and still haven't gotten any replies on my job applications, I figure I'd try my hand in commissions (and don't worry, my dad is up for them as well so I'm not forcing him on this). So here's the guidelines (which will probably be edited often):

What you can request:
Replicas
Tools
Weapons (swords, guns, shields, etc)
Accessories (jewelry, head pieces, etc)
Small pieces of armor (simple arm bands, gloves with armor on them, etc)
Anything else you think would be possible to make (I can help you verify)

What you cannot request:
Dangerous weapons (we sand all the edges for safety)
Anything sexual in nature
Figurines/Models (honestly, we're just making hand held implements)
Things that cannot be mailed

Other features:
Wood burning designs
Plastic gems
Leather/cloth accessories (hilt wraps, etc)
Chains

If that list was rather vague, just ask me and I'll probably be able to determine if we can make it or not. We might be able to modify some things in order to make them as well.

Pricing:
Since everything is unique in nature, we'll have to judge the pricing depending on the piece. For a range, I'm thinking about $30 for the simplest little thing possible to upwards of $200 for something OMFGWTFBBQ complex. Eventually we'll start getting some base numbers up for sizes and types and such, and maybe even base creations where you can choose the details.
(in short, these prices are going to change a lot until things get into order)
